My upcoming Craftsman style woodworking project is going to feature a bit of Detroit history from Pewabic Pottery. The Detroit based ceramics studio was founded in 1903 and known for its iridescent glazes. Pewabic Tiles and Ceramics grace notable buildings such as the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and Shedd Aquarium.
